We are looking for a Merchandiser for an international fashion brand, HQ in Amsterdam.

As a member of the Merchandising team, you will be responsible for creating seasonal strategies and commercial product assortments, along with in season management tasks. This role requires an eye for product along with the ability to analyze data and build product ranges based on these findings.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Develop range plans per product group, at the right price positioning, based on historical data, trend analysis and market research;
• Collaborate with Design and Product Development on building commercially strong collections in alignment with range plans;
• Collaborate closely with the sales teams to ensure that the division supports all market needs and has strong collaboration with all countries in achieving sales targets and growth;
• Able to collaborate & influence across multiple functions and disciplines including but not limited to Design, Product Development, Technical Development, Buying, Marketing and Operations teams to maintain range plan, pricing, margin and collection structure;
• During key meetings, ensuring product availability, providing pricing- and in-depth product knowledge when needed. Present and explain the collection to the markets and additional customers, and assist in key account meetings to obtain feedback and maintain close relationships with Markets.

We are looking for the following background:

• Graduated at degree level or equivalent;
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a wholesale driven environment merchandise role within an globally operating apparel brand;
• Fluent English both written and verbal; other languages are a plus;
• Excellent analytic and planning skills;
• Excellent presentation skills;
• Market trends and fashion awareness as well as a strong commercial understanding.

You will work in a dynamic and international environment. The salary will be market conform based on experience and education.
