Finally.....A Business Development Manager role as it is supposed to be... From the global HQ of this Financial Services company you assist the global/local sales teams to pitch and execute two newly developed financial services product lines.

Are you a sparring partner for CFO's and other C-level professionals? Do you like to support the local sales teams from the pitch to the eventual implementation of the services? This might be that International opportunity that you have been looking for!

Once local sales teams have recognized the need for one of these complex financial services products you support them with your in depth knowledge of financial processes. From the initial talks with the customer to drawing up the contract for the deal and the set up of the project once the deal has been made.

  • Develop new preventative services product lines to reflect what the International/Global market is requiring

  • Develop the Financial Services market through an understanding of a client's business models and needs to construct combined service proposals. which add value to the company, their channels and their customers.

  • Identify what the Financial Services market needs, what are the gaps in current service offering and what are the requirements the market / clients and future clients require. You will provide feedback into CMS team to support product development.

  • Be responsible for the direct acquisition and development of new and existing accounts, you will establish and maintain working relationships with prospective Key accounts and Channel accounts

  • Educate prospects on our solutions and communicate the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of working with the company

  • Work closely with the sales teams globally, to educate, support, and guide them on newly developed Solutions / product lines in order that they have confidence to sell the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of working with the company

  • Provide timely, accurate and competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

  • Have responsibility for defining the role of the company in deals, liaising with internal organization for deal approval, working with Operations Service Delivery team to ensure we can deliver and maintain the service offered.

  • Liaise with CMS team in order to ensure that our customers experience exemplary service and that complaints are resolved efficiently with structural improvements put in place to avoid repeat issues

  • Work closely with our sales teams globally to identify new deals for our preventive services or other CMS product lines.

  • Monitor the overall satisfaction level of key stakeholders within Channels (decision makers & influencers) and implement structural improvements in order to maximise satisfaction and co-operation

  • Prepare Sales Strategy Plan(s) for receivable management and all CMS solutions

  • Communicate new products / service developments to internal and external stakeholders, providing clear benefits and value add of the new proposition.

  • Build and maintain a strong network in relevant industry networking groups, events and with channel partners

The Business Development Manager (International) needs to meet the following criteria:

  • Energized, ambitious and the drive to build a new department;
  • Experience in a multi-national and multi-functional business environment;
  • Understanding on finance structures
  • Strong network in the international finance Industry
  • proven trackrecord
  • English fluent (written and spoken).
  • willingess to travel (20%)

We offer a very responsible position within a major international financial services provider. We offer attractive terms of conditions: salary in line with market conditions. Fixed salary of 80.000 to 95.000 euro gross per year with a bonus potential of 50%
